Do-It-Yourself Hours Changing

Summary:
As of the week of March 22, 2010, Tool Rental days will be changing to only Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Attention all DIYers!

As of the week of March 22, 2010, Tool Rental days will be changing. We will be modifying Tool Rental days for do-it-yourselfers to be only Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Otherwise, things remain the same: as long as we're open on those days, you're welcome to come and rent the tools and stands on a first-come, first-served basis. Mechanics will still be available to help you out.

The only difference will be that on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays the stand space is all reserved for our mechanics to get things done. Thanks for your co-operation, and see you soon!

Workshop Feedback Survey

Summary:
We're looking for feedback on our workshops: How can we do better? What else would you like to see us offer?

Help us cater our workshops to our community more effectively. Or, maybe we're already doing such a great job that you don't have any suggestions!

Either way, if you have thoughts about what we're doing right, or what we can do better, or what else you'd like to see offered, please take a few moments to visit the survey at the link below and give us your thoughts.

Buy-a-Bike Gift Program

Summary:
Buy-a-Bike in someone's name, and provide a free bike to someone in need!

Community Bicycle Network has been operating since 1993, with a mission to make cycling accessible to everyone at all levels of society. And, in the past year, we have returned to our original programming, which involves making re-used, recycled bicycles available, alongside bicycle repair training, and an attention to mechanical standards.

CBN has embraced, as one of our important mandates, a commitment to give away bicycles to people who otherwise cannot afford to own a bike. This affords mobility to financially-challenged individuals in the city, which in turn can help to make way for increased work options and better living conditions.

Your gift of $100 ensures that one more individual in Toronto can receive a free bike. In addition, we will send you a charitable tax receipt (if requested), and will send a gift card recognizing your gift to the individual of your choice.

Happy holidays, and thank you for your commitment to increased and sustainable transportation!

Join us for Critical Mass!

Summary:
If you are thinking of coming by CBN on a Friday evening, double-check your calendar first to make sure that it isn't the last Friday of the month.

If you are thinking of coming by CBN on a Friday evening, double-check your calendar first to make sure that it isn't the last Friday of the month.

If it is, think of joining us for Critical Mass instead, as we'll be closing at 6pm on those Fridays! (If you can't join us for Critical Mass, then at least be aware that we won't be here to help you with your bike on those evenings after 6pm!)
