Call for Board Members

A Call for Board Members

The Community Bicycle Network is currently seeking several new Board Members to assist us in our current season. CBN is focusing on our events and rides in the short term to better fulfill our mission to promote cycling in the community.

We are putting on and sponsoring a variety of rides and events including the Toronto Vintage Bicycle Show, a Ride for Renewables, a Foodie Ride and others.

This is an opportunity to make an important contribution to one of Toronto’s most dynamic grassroots organizations.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals with expertise in social media and event planning to help us with our Vintage Bicycle Show.

These positions are for working board members, meaning there will be hands-on responsibilities. Candidates must be interested in our mandate & mission, can participate in governance & planning roles and also take on operational tasks as needed.

If you want to volunteer and help out, we could use your help!!

Requirements
* Ability to maintain a voluntary position

* 2-year commitment (approximately 10-15 hrs/month)

* Must be able to attend monthly meetings in Toronto (usually the 1st Monday of each month.)
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

CBN is an equal opportunity work environment, and we welcome diversity. If you are interested, please send your CV, along with a brief letter of interest to info@communitybicyclenetwork.org.
