Intermediate Bike Repair Workshops
Registrants should be familiar and comfortable with the subject of the Flat Fix/Intro to Bike Repair class before taking the intermediate class(es).

The classes are taught by experienced mechanics and provide an intimate, focused, learning environment. The number of participants is limited to 6 per class.

The class outline is structured and focused to cover as much as possible in a relatively short amount of time. As a beginner to bike repair, we expect you will learn a lot and come away feeling much more comfortable with the workings of your machine. It is also an ideal refresher for someone who has taken a class in the past, or has some limited, but spotty experience. You will almost certainly learn some new techniques and tricks.

Intermediate Workshops 1 and 2 do not have to be taken together or in order.

Brakes:

- Identify all components of a braking system and its parts
- Learn to troubleshoot component problems
- Demonstration of cable and brake pad replacement, with hands-on involvement according to time, at the instructor's discretion

Gears:
- Identify all components of the drivetrain
- Explanation of how shifting systems work, with demonstration of shifting adjustment as time allows
- Learn to troubleshoot some drivetrain problems, with explanation of chain replacement

Price: $31.50 (includes GST)

Please bring your bike if possible!
