Women & Cycling Art Showcase

Women & Cycling explores the means of expression that springs from
individuals who make cycling their passion. Celebrating women, this
project intends to create, inspire and change perceptions.

Thursday May 26
CBN Annual General Meeting
6:00 to 8:30 p.m. @ Community Bicycle Network
(761 Queen St. W.)
Bring your voice and your interest in bicycling to the CBN AGM. Members can vote and anyone can become a member for $20 or 6 hours volunteer work.

Monday May 30 to Saturday June 11

CBN Speaker Series Launch Event
7:30 to 9:00 p.m. @ Mountain Equipment Co-op (400 King St. W.)
The new season of the CBN Speaker Series is hosted by Mountain
Equipment Co-op. The first event presents Mountain Biking & Trails in
the City.

Thursday June 2
Let's Bike to the Ex! Bike Rodeo, BBQ & More
5:30 to 11:00 p.m. @ Bandshell Park, Exhibition Place
Norco’s fleet of Monterey hybrid bikes will be the Green Fleet Herd for riders at the CBN Bike Rodeo at the Ex on June 2nd. Register a team of 4 cowboys and/or cowbelles at CBN.Come enjoy food and entertainment while learning about CBN's Green Fleet Program, and Exhibition Place's sustainable initiatives.

Saturday June 4
ToolWorks Bike Fix Clinic & Workshop
1 to 4 p.m. @ Community Bicycle Network (761 Queen St. W.)
Learn the basics about bicycle maintenance and repair. The
presentation is followed by a do-it-yourself workshop with access to
tools and advice. Free and open to the public.

Tuesday June 7
Wenches with Wrenches Workshop
7:30 to 9:00 p.m. @ Mountain Equipment Co-op (400 King St. W.)
Wenches with Wrenches will be hosting a bicycle maintenance workshop at
MEC. We will be covering bike fit, flat fix, and brake/drive-train

8:00 to 10:00 a.m. @ Community Bicycle Network, 761 Queen St. W.
Free Coffee, Tea & Fruit, PWYC Home-Baked Goodies. All proceeds
support BikeShare. Join the CBN Board, Volunteers and Staff for a morning
of treats and eats!
