 Registrants should be familiar and comfortable with the subject of the Flat Fix/Intro to Bike Repair class before taking the intermediate class(es).</p>
 <p>The classes are taught by experienced mechanics and provide an intimate\, focused\, learning environment. The number of participants is limited to 6 per class.</p>
 <p>The class outline is structured and focused to cover as much as possible in a relatively short amount of time. As a beginner to bike repair\, we expect you will learn a lot and come away feeling much more comfortable with the workings of your machine. It is also an ideal refresher for someone who has taken a class in the past\, or has some limited\, but spotty experience. You will almost certainly learn some new techniques and tricks.</p>
 <p>Intermediate Workshops 1 and 2 do not have to be taken together or in order.<br />

 - Identify all components of a braking system and its parts<br />
 - Learn to troubleshoot component problems<br />
 - Demonstration of cable and brake pad replacement\, with hands-on involvement according to time\, at the instructor's discretion</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p><strong>Bearings and Wheels</strong></p>
 <p>3 hrs\, $33.90\, 5 participants max.</p>
 <p>Bearing Adjustment\: Review (from basic class) of how to identify need for adjustment. How to adjust\, how to identify need for overhaul (but not how to). Demonstration and hands-on.</p>
 <p>Spoke Replacement and Wheel Truing\: Very basic introduction to minor wheel truing and how to replace a spoke (barring other damage). Demonstration only.</p>
 <p>Chain wear check and how to identify need for replacement of drive train (chain/cogs/chainring/pulleys)\, sizing of chain\, lubrication. Demonstration (with hands-on if time permits).</p>
 <p>Ball Bearings and Wheeltruing Workshop is always 7pm to 10pm. See the Events Calendar for the upcoming schedule.</p>
 <p>Note\:</p>
 <p>Due to the huge variety of bicycle components available\, we may not have time to cover the specifics of every participant’s bike\, but we’ll do our best. Suspension maintenance will not be covered.</p>
