Join 1000s of Cyclists on the 6th Annual Bells on Bloor Ride !!
Sat. June 2
Meet at 1:30 p.m. at High Park (Bloor St. entrance) and ride en masse to Queen’s Park
At Queens Park we’ll converge with Bells on Danforth and Bells on Yonge to join the Cycle & Sole community rally for safer ON roads.
All afternoon we’ll celebrate and advocate for bicycle and pedestrian safety. We’re asking for Bike Lanes on Bloor and for slower speed limits. Find out more at CycleandSole.com and BellsonBloor.org. Or visit Cycle and Sole’s FB event page:https://www.facebook.com/
In 2013, the City will re-pave Bloor from Dundas W. to Ossington. Let’s ensure they include safe bicycle passage, which would likely mean bike lanes. Bloor St. is one of Toronto’s favoured bike routes because it is long, flat and has no streetcar tracks. But it also has one of the highest car/bike collision rates in the city. Let’s make it safe for all road users.
