CBN & MEC Outdoor Nation Ride to the Rouge Valley This Weekend


Hi there,

The Community Bicycle Network has received an Outdoor Nation Grant from MEC and we still have room for participants for a bike/camp trip that we have prepared!

It will take place this weekend (Sept 19/20) in Toronto.

The group will meet at MEC and ride to the Rouge Valley Campsite (roughly 45km-so we are asking for riders who can commit to the ride).

Food and equipment will be provided thanks to MEC and Parks Canada.

CBN has partnered with the TTL and are now offering rentals out of their Parkdale Location; 1499 Queen Street West.

Rentals are $25/day plus a damage deposit of $50.

Heritage Toronto Don Valley Bike Tour – Saturday September 12


The Don Valley: From Todmorden Mills to Lake Ontario – Bicycle Tour (September)
September 12 @ 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Hop on your bike and join us on a leisurely ride through Toronto history. CBN is happy to partner with Heritage Toronto to deliver this tour! Bring your own bicycle, or rent one from CBN for $25/day + tax.

Join Jennifer Bonnell, a historian of the Don Valley, to explore the rich human and natural history of one of Toronto’s great rivers. Hear the stories of its uses by Aboriginal peoples, the industrial development of the river that led to its straightening in the 1890s, and its history as a place of refuge for the homeless.
